Hi,
since v220 systemd has changed some core functions in order to detect mountpoints and they doesn't work anymore under OpenVZ containers.

I already opened a bug to systemd, but they don't want to fix because it's an openvz problem, so I opened a bug to OpenVZ and they fixed it (https://bugzilla.openvz.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3280).

The problem is that VPS providers takes ages to update the kernel and so I suggest (see attachment) to patch our systemd in order to workaround the problem.

OpenVZ is one of the most used VPS system and it's used by some big VPS providers, such as OVH.

Reason for closing:  Won't implement
Additional comments about closing:  OpenVZ needs to be fixed. I won't carry out of tree patches to work around lazy/slow VPS providers.

I'm not willing to carry a patch against systemd just for openvz, especially if upstream systemd has rejected it.
