DetailsSince version 2.2, fish has an official directory for other packages to install their own completion scripts. This can be found with `pkg-config --variable=completionsdir fish` and is /usr/share/fish/vendor_completions.d by default.
(This also means that fish 2.2.0-2 was unnecessary since v_c.d should override /usr/share/fish/completions, but it's not harmful) See upstream issues at https://github.com/fish-shell/fish-shell/issues/1726 and https://github.com/fish-shell/fish-shell/issues/1485 |
