It would be nice to see the gettext Java library in the official package. Additional info: * package version(s): 0.19.4 Steps to reproduce: - Install the official package - Find the Java library under /usr/share/gettext and a symlink in /usr/share/java What happens: - No gettext Java library, in no place. What should happen: - As the 2nd step of 'Steps to reproduce' In addition: I've created a PKGBUILD that builds as the official package but install just the Java libraries: https://aur4.archlinux.org/packages/gettext-java/ It would be nice if it could be merged in the main package. |

I'm not sure this is ever going to be fixed, as core packages cannot depend on packages in extra and I don't think anyone wants to add openjdk to core.

So, can't my AUR package be included in extra or community?
