DetailsI have in the config file the line ${if_up eth0} <some things> ${endif}. With conky 1.9.0-7, this config file works. After upgrading to 1.10.0-2, conky starts only long enough to output its usual things:
conky: Syntax error (/home/onexused/.conkyrc:1: syntax error near 'bottom_right') while reading config file. conky: Assuming it's in old syntax and attempting conversion. conky: desktop window (278) is root window conky: window type - normal conky: drawing to created window (0x1800002) conky: drawing to double buffer conky: forked to background, pid is 11508
before it closes with nothing extra output to the terminal. Removing all ${if_up <interface>} lines and associated ${endif}s (and nothing else) causes conky to output the same type of thing (including the syntax error malarky) and run as expected. (1.9.0 doesn't print the syntax error lines) Downgrading conky to 1.9.0-7 and touching nothing else fixes this. |

The config file format has changed in 1.10. Update to the new format, request reopen if that doesn't work. There is an active thread on the forums if you need help.
