When clutter-gst and clutter-gst2 are both installed, applications wanting to use the GStreamer elements provided by clutter-gst2 fail to run properly. Please see the forum post for more information : https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=1541114#p1541114 Steps to reproduce: 1. Install both clutter-gst and clutter-gst2. 2. Clear the GStreamer plugin registry by removing ~/.cache/gstreamer-1.0. 3. Start cheese. A message saying "One or more needed GStreamer elements are missing: cluttervideosink" should appear. |
