Summary and Info:
Pacman manual is wrong about query option -t.
It says that wiht .t option pacman "output to packages not required or optionally required" and with -tt "to only filter packages that are direct dependencies (i.e. do not filter optional dependencies)." but I get opposite result on my installation.

Steps to Reproduce:
pacman -Qt | wc -l
pacman -Qtt | wc -l

First command should give a number greater or equal than second but it give a number lesser or equal.

Looks correct to me. The second number should almost always be larger because it does not filter out optional deps where the first one does.

-Qt shows packages not required either directly or optionally by any package. -Qtt shows packages not directly required by any package. The latter can include packages that are optionally required by other packages, so it should be larger or equal to the first.
