Just for information: At the moment I have too little time for Arch, I will do my best to find a solution in the next upcoming weeks.

I fully understand that you don't have time to maitain this package but at this point I think you should leave it as unmaintained.

If everytime a dev has little time for Arch would orphan his packages then nearly the whole repo would be unmaintained. Nothing would be faster if I would orphan the package, so please be patient, I will try to fix the problem as soon as possible. And as you may remember the whole dev group is doing this distribution in their free-time, no one is paid for his work.

well, be patient is one thing, but it seems that none of the prob I reported are going to be fixed. Some of them are more than one year old. And now I received a notification long time after my first report to say that you're busy...

So no it's not maintained in my point of view.

But as said I fully understand that you do that on your free-time, but marking it as unmaintained would be honest with users. If I had known that, I would have not chooseen banshee, definitively.

Anyways, I'm going to find another music player, and again nothing against you personally.

I can understand that, but I have only found 2 bug reports from you for banshee (and a third one with transcoding where you comment on). One with UPNP and Synology NAS which is definitely an upstream bug and can't be fixed by me and this one. And on the upstream bug nothing happens at their bug tracker.

Nevertheless, I can understand that you are a little bit disappointed on that. But it seems that the Banshee developers itself are not the most active ones at least on releasing new releases.

Back on topic:
I will have a look into this, but I cant't promise anything. I just can apologize the long time for handling those issues.

don't apologize, as said I perfectly understand that you're busy.

And yes you're also right, doesn't seem that banshee developers are active.

Anyways you can close my bug, as said I'm moving away from banshee.

bye.
