Details

Mobile broadband connections stopped working after the most recent update.

After inserting the USB-dongle it is no longer recognised in the networkmanager applet and no connection can be established. The dongle should normally show up and a connection be automatically established through the Gnome Control Center with the previously saved Access Point Name (APN).

How is this a modemmanager bug, what recent update, we have updates all the time.

Please provide logs what happens when you plug in your modem.

I can confirm the issue. I suspect it is related to the systemd update providing udev because my modem doesn't change into modem mode (usb_modechange is installed) when plugged in anymore.


EDIT: new usb_modechange fixed the issue.
