when I did the upgade I got:

It's just a warning, but not normal, I think.

This is caused by gconftool-2 trying to reload running gconf through dbus. As root doesn't have a dbus user session (or a $DISPLAY to launch one), this fails with the warning in this report.
The message printed is harmless and since more packages are moving away from gconf, I will not apply any fixes for this.
