Translating AUR interface is lightly put hellish at the moment.
There isn't a single context message provided for any of the strings
and even the location is suppressed (--no-location) as of now.

The translation catalog is full of one and two word strings that are
extremely hard to translate as you have no idea where they are located,
some times you can't even see all of them (TU-interface).

In the long run proper context should be provided, but for the time
being enabling just the location would help the ones with some php/html
knowledge to translate.

For example:

template/pkg_details.php has a string "Merge Package" on the line 147.
This a string only the TU's will see in the "Package Actions" box,
as so as regular user I cannot see this string. I wasn't sure
whether this string was used as some sort of an action link or header
somewhere and so I didn't know if I should have translated it as
"Yhdistä toiseen pakettiin" or "Pakettienyhdistäminen" in Finnish.
But when I finally found the actual string in the source code it
was clear that this was one of the actions links in the Package Actions
box and I knew to use the former.

So please replace --no-location with --add-location in po/Makefile.
This task depends upon

Would you be fine witth --add-location=file? The problem with -n is that line numbers change very often (with almost every commit). It makes it hard to check whether the message catalog actually needs to be updated or whether there are line number changes only. It also means that the line numbers are kind of bogus, as the location might have moved since the last Transifex submission. And I do not want to clutter our commit log with frequent commits to update the references...

That would be a nice improvement.
I was suspecting that the line numbers might have been the original
reason for disabling the location completely. File name at least
tells you which file to open for searching.
