Details

Even basic code like
echo "hello world"
cause sigsegv

It is because hhvm does not support gcc >=5.0.

If compiled with gcc 4.9 everything works ok (even if gcc5 is installed)

Disable the Jit with Eval.Jit=0.
It is a known upstream issue and you can keep track of it here: https://github.com/facebook/hhvm/issues/5474

It seems to be working fine here too. I just uploaded a rebuild with the patch applied.
