DetailsDescription:
Since the upgrade to perl-finance-quote-1.37-1 from perl-finance-quote-1.35-1, I can no longer retrieve price quotes online using the "Tools->Price Editor->Get Quotes" options. Similarly, when adding a new security (Tools->Security Editor->Add), I see the following error: "Warning: Finance::Quote not installed properly." Upon downgrading to perl-finance-quote-1.35-1, online quotes seem to work fine again. Additional info: * package version(s) gnucash-2.6.6-1, perl-finance-quote-1.37-1 * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: Using referenced package versions: Tools->Security Editor->Add. Note warning under "Quote Source Information" heading. |

I second that. Exactly the same behavior for me. Seeing it in GnuCash, downgraded perl-finance-quote as well, works again (with downgraded version).

This can be fixed by installing the required dependencies perl-datetime and perl-cgi.
