DetailsDescription: a Samsung SCX-3200 multifunction printer can't scan. It is recognized first after powering on the device but then it's removed from the system immediately, scanimage can't find it. Source of the problem: new motherboard with USB3.0
Not working plugged into either USB2 or USB3 ports. After disabling Intel USB3.0 Mode in UEFI the scanner works. I am not sure where should I open a ticket and didn't get any help in the forum. Additional info: * package version(s) sane 1.0.24-4 * config and/or log files etc. https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=197887 Steps to reproduce: Replace your 10+ year-old mobo with a new one. I used the motherboard's backpanel ports directly both USB2 and USB3.

i'm not sure is is problem of the uefi, but my scan (Canon lide220) works ok in the usb 3.0 ports (NEC Corporation uPD720200) on my mobo (EVGA SR-2, is a bios based mobo)
