DetailsDescription:
The package does not contain the ngspice shared .so library and so it is not possible to call it from other programs. Additional info: I've tried to add the --with-ngshared option in the PKGBUILD, but if it is present the make command creates only the .so library and not the executables. I've tried to modified the PKGBUILD build() function in this way: build() { cd "${srcdir}/${pkgname}-${pkgver}" ./configure --prefix=/usr \ --mandir=/usr/share/man \ --infodir=/usr/share/info \ --with-readline=yes \ --enable-xspice \ --with-ngshared \ --enable-cider \ --enable-openmp make cd "${srcdir}/${pkgname}-${pkgver}" ./configure --prefix=/usr \ --mandir=/usr/share/man \ --infodir=/usr/share/info \ --with-readline=yes \ --enable-xspice \ --enable-cider \ --enable-openmp make } but I don't know if it is the correct way and how to package the results of the build so that to have also the .so files. Can you help me, please? Thank you. |

Yeah, that was one weird build system. I looked for a cleaner, single-pass build but couldn't get it to work. Went with your solution, thanks.
