DetailsThe kernel seems to be compiled without CONFIG_SND_VERBOSE_PROCFS=y which is required to for many legacy OSS apps to allow audio to function with OSS audio capture via a seperate process.
Common situations are Quake based games combined with voice comms software such as Teamspeak. Sometimes it's required to get audio working for some OSS applications by themselves. This was also missing from the main kernel but has now been re-included. |
