DetailsDescription:
I don`t know with which update this happened but we wanted to use the gallery app in owncloud again. Unfortunately it can not be activated because it is not showing up in apps section. All other apps are fine. I use latest mariadb as database. If you need any additional information just let me know. Additional info: * package version(s) all latest 8.0.4-1 * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: yaourt -Sy --noconfirm php-sqlite mariadb php-intl php-mcrypt php-xcache php-pear exiv2 owncloud owncloud-app-bookmarks owncloud-app-calendar owncloud-app-contacts owncloud-app-documents owncloud-app-gallery open owncloud with admin user in browser go to username - admin - apps - recommended / multimedia / not installed gallery app is not there ant therefore not possible to be activated |
This task depends upon
Step 1: Update your entire system. Partial updates like what you posted are unsupported.
thanks, I added the --noconfirm for testing with the error cause it was annoying to use it over and over again.
And my entire system is up to date. The error is still persisting.
Thanks in advance for further help
What can I do to solve it? Do you need any files or logs?
I am seeing this on two different systems (that run with the same settings).
But a new problem came up. All apps got deactivated again and it was only possible to activate one at a time, the second one (independently which one) gave an error. When clicking on another menu (e.g. help) the maintenance mode was turned back on and afterwards it was possible to activate the next single app.
But with this workaround the gallery problem seems solved.
Thanks
