good god, yaourt -Sy --noconfirm? If you add --force to that, you'd win the prize for worst command ever.

Step 1: Update your entire system. Partial updates like what you posted are unsupported.

hey,

thanks, I added the --noconfirm for testing with the error cause it was annoying to use it over and over again.

And my entire system is up to date. The error is still persisting.

Thanks in advance for further help

-Sy is a bigger problem than --noconfirm, but as long as you did a -Su, we're ok.

Thanks. I´m always bringing all packages up to date before installing new ones.

Cannot reproduce. I've updated my owncloud without any problems (except it disables mostly all apps on update and they need to be reenabled manually)

Yes, I see that. But the gallery app is just not there to be reenabled.

What can I do to solve it? Do you need any files or logs?

I am seeing this on two different systems (that run with the same settings).

I think logs from webserver, owncloud and sql engine will be useful

With the new 8.1 update the gallery app is back there but called pictures, not gallery. So this is fine again.

But a new problem came up. All apps got deactivated again and it was only possible to activate one at a time, the second one (independently which one) gave an error. When clicking on another menu (e.g. help) the maintenance mode was turned back on and afterwards it was possible to activate the next single app.

But with this workaround the gallery problem seems solved.

Thanks

I've also seen one-by-one app upgrading. May be it is bug-or-feature.
