Details

After upgrading to the latest udev (091-1), my local rules are not being applied anymore. I have this in /etc/udev/rules.d/10-local.rules:
KERNEL=="event*", SYSFS{manufacturer}=="Logitech", SYSFS{product}=="USB-PS/2 Optical Mouse", NAME=="input/mx510", MODE="0644"

This used to work fine before the upgrade.

input symlinks are now covered since 090 in input/by-XXX
choose one of those links then it works, else you have to change your own rule, that udev does it again.

why not changing NAME= to SYMLINK+= that should work for you
