Description:
None of the hotkeys work. acpi_listen and showkey --keycodes respond only when Fn + F8 is pressed and this combination has identical keycode as key 'p', 25. If I try "modprobe asus-laptop", error is returned: modprobe: ERROR: could not insert 'asus_laptop': No such device. I don't know which logs and information could help, so please comment and I will provide them. Bug was reported here, also: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1369528, but I do not see any progress made. Additional info: Kernel: 4.0.4-2-ARCH Steps to reproduce: Try to use fn keys on Asus X750LN. |

There has been no activity on that launchpad bug report you linked to since 2014 (before this ticket was even opened). Can you let me know if this issue was ever fixed with a more recent kernel version? Please let me know, your response is appreciated.
If not, can you try the 4.13 which should contain further asus-laptop specific changes?
