Description:
Wrong cursor shown on background, as stated here: https://github.com/blue-systems/plasma-5.4/issues/82

Additional info:
* breeze 5.3.1-2

It seems breeze should change /usr/share/icons/default/index.theme with Inherits=breeze_cursors (this solved the issue for me and other 2-3 people in "KF 5 & Plasma" sticky forum post.
I.e.:
[Icon Theme]
#Inherits=Adwaita
Inherits=breeze_cursors.

Don't know if this is a breeze bug or a libxcursor's one.
On linked github page there are some solutions.

The dot after breeze_cursors is a typo...
By the way, libxcursor 1.1.14-2, it may be useful.

What happens if you remove /usr/share/icons/default/index.theme?
Comment by Federico (nierro) - Saturday, 30 May 2015, 16:08 GMT
It is working.

ps: sorry, i forgot to put a summary of the bug...

No, we will not change this. Adwaita is a valid fallback theme for "broken" themes that are missing cursors. Replacing it with another theme that might not be complete will cause issues.

If you want to change this, change your active cursor theme to fallback to breeze_cursors instead.

Mmh, you mean by creating a ~/.icons/default/index.theme with Inherits=breeze_cursors, as stated here: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Cursor_themes#XDG_specification?
This is surely better than changing system wide /usr/share/icons/default/index.theme (i didn't know it could be done this way).
I think i'll write this workaround in the plasma wiki page as some users already reported this issue.
