After I remove the synaptics driver to disable the touchpad, the xserver failed with evdev module reloading, generates a segment fault. After I reinstall the synaptics driver, everything is fine now. The setting about evdev in 50-synaptics.conf is critical for xserver, please add it as default. Steps to reproduce: Remove the synaptics driver, suspend and recover, then xserver exits with segment fault. |
