I use `synsei` which in turn uses `synclient` which is a command line interface to `xf86-input-synaptics`. All works good in version 1.8.2-1, but after upgrading to 1.8.2-2, touchpad settings are no longer applied and therefore things like eg. scrolling on the right side of the touchpad, circle scrolling, or horizontal scrolling no longer work. |

Does it work if you use synclient directly?

Strange thing, now I've upgraded the package and it works just fine. It must've been some random influence or something that got fixed after 2 reboots (odd).
