Detailsgnuplot depends on icu library, which is not yet in dependencies list. Also, gnuplot have to be rebuild with every major update of icu. Otherwise, the following error will show up when executing gnuplot 5.0.0-2 with icu 55.1:
gnuplot: error while loading shared libraries: libicui18n.so.54: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory |

Nope, nothing in gnuplot is linked to libicu*. This means the problem lies in another package that gnuplot is linked to. Most likely it is either from a partial update or an AUR package that you need to rebuild. If you're not sure what it is, you can use lddtree from pax-utils.
