Details
Description: after i connect my usb 3G modem NM show me the
network name in the nm-applet, if i try to connect he try a
bit and disconnect; modem's led goes from blinking to still,
so the modem is connected. No connection however.
Every try to set a connection results in a failed one w/o an error popup. Only way to connect is using Sakis3G, that just works after requesting some questions, like choosing the modem interface (1,3,5) but i noticed that modem's usb id stay the same before and after the connection. Additional info: * package version(s) networkmanager 1.0.0-2 modemmanager 1.4.6-1 usb 3G modem Vodafone / ZTE K3806Z * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: connect the modem, use the connection from nm-applet and wait the spinning icon to return to unconnected icon. |

Well, even wvdial is connecting, after a little search of some AT
commands to use.
New version of ModemManager (1.4.8-1) did not change anything.
- Field changed: Status (Assigned → Waiting on Response)
Is this still valid with current version of networkmanager
(1.8.x?)
I don't use modemmanager anymore though. But it was working good
half a year ago though.
