This should be sent upstream, Arch doesn't patch packages for new features

I am afraid that this would not be implemented upstream since the service menu item was provided by p7zip until revision 9.38.1-2 and we lost it in revision 9.38.1-3. I think we don't get a solution, I will keep my user service menu alive so long as it works for me, supposed it would be also useful for others who suffer under the loss of the 7zip filemanager. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Have you considered uploading it to kde-apps.org? This way people could easily install it via GHNS
ark_addtoservicemenu.desktop....
