Description:

I could not get weston to launch via mesa package in repository.

I applied this patch and was successful:

Steps to reproduce:

Follow the wiki on wayland on fresh install.

attached are the files I used to fix it. it's dirty and probably could use a cleanup :-)

Fortunately, the commit below in 10.5.5 stable release fixes this issue.
