DetailsDescription:
After installing gpsdrive simply does not work. I expect the program to be usable without additional configuration, but gpsdrive refuses to start after installation. Additional info: * package version 2.11-25 * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: pacman -S gpsdrive [ user@critiquark ~ ] gpsdrive Can't connect to gps daemon on 127.0.0.1:2947, disabling GPS support! DB: Error while opening /usr/share/gpsdrive/geoinfo.db: unable to open database file [ user@critiquark ~ ] ls /usr/share/gpsdrive/ map_koord.txt mapnik maps osm-template.xml pixmaps [[ user@critiquark ~ ] sudo touch /usr/share/gpsdrive/geoinfo.db [ user@critiquark ~ ] gpsdrive Can't connect to gps daemon on 127.0.0.1:2947, disabling GPS support! DB: Using waypoints from local user file. DB: SQLite error: no such table: poi_type Read 0 POI-Types from geoinfo.db Generating Mapnik config-file (/home/user/.gpsdrive/osm.xml) from config-template (/usr/share/gpsdrive/osm-template.xml) terminate called after throwing an instance of 'boost::filesystem::filesystem_error' what(): boost::filesystem::directory_iterator::construct: No such file or directory: i:Exit -:PrevPg <Sp"/usr/share/fonts/truetype/ttf-dejavu/" Aborted (core dumped) |
This task depends upon
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/GpsDrive
?
geoinfofile = /usr/share/icons/map-icons/geoinfo.db
mapnik_font_path = /usr/share/fonts/TTF
into ~/.gpsdrive/gpsdriverc gpsdrive at least starts. You can try to push upstream developers why "make install" does not create working installation.
