The desktop file of GNOME Boxes
(/usr/share/applications/org.gnome.Boxes.desktop) has the
line "OnlyShowIn=GNOME". This means that it is not shown in
other Desktop Environments.
Such a line is useful for DE-specific utilities, such as gnome-system-monitor or gnome-tweak-tool. Boxes however, is a generic utility which can be used to connect to remote/virtual systems. It is useful in GNOME, but also in other environments (or am I missing something, and is it only usable in GNOME?). Therefore it should be shown in any DE. I suggest that this line is removed. |

It was marked as "WONTFIX", but I have asked them to reconsider.
