DetailsRsyslog supports the relp protocol for reliable log transport.
The current package is built with relp support however. This can be resolved by configuring it with --enable-relp. Please note that this requires a dependency on librelp[1], the reference relp library maintained by the rsyslog developers. As a side note, rsyslog can be built with many more features than it currently is. It might be worth considering enabling some of those as well. [1] http://www.librelp.com/ |
