Hi! I have a problem with slow usb transfer speeds which is
caused by gnome-volume-manager automounting the usb sticks
sync instead of async. When I transfer data, the indicator
light for the stick lights up intermittently, which means
that the stick is mounted sync.
To test, I disabled gvm and made an fstab entry for usb stick with async option and mounted it manually. Data transfer is now fast and async because data transer happens after I click on the unmount button. |

This happens with memory cards and USB sticks smaller than 256MB.
I think I'll patch the code to make it lower than 64MB.
