Details1. Register a new account at https://aur.archlinux.org/register/
2. Receive e-mail and click link to register a new password 3. Attempt to log in with new password, but it fails. 4. Try resetting password the next day, entering new password 5. Attempt to log in again with new password, but it fails. 6. Conclude *something* is wrong. Re 6: The mail you get back when resetting your password does not make any mention of what your username is. The problem with that is that perhaps now I am entering my correct (new) password, but getting my username wrong, because perhaps I got a typo in it in the first place. Actually, there is no way to confirm that my username is what I think I entered originally. If I try to register again, with the same e-mail and username, it fails saying the e-mail is wrong, so I still don't know if the username I'm using is the problem. In short, this *could* be user error, but I can't tell. There is definitely a problem. |
