I have ndiswrapper-archck-1.12-1 installed. Sometimes I lose wireless signal and have to reload the ndiswrapper module.

$rmmod ndiswrapper results in a system hang.

v1.10-3 doesn't have this problem.

Sorry. It would be ndiswrapper-archck-1.10-2 that is stable, not v1.10-3.

Sounds like an upstream issue. I get periodic hangs with 1.12 about once every 3 days. 1.13 is released, I will update tonight (if you feel up to it, compile from ABS and see if this fixes the issue).

As I've said many times before, ndiswrapper is pretty much doing something it shouldn't be doing, by wrapping the Windows driver API. I've come to expect a periodic hiccup from it - the upstream developers tend to be good about fixing these things.

Let me know if 1.13 fixes the issue.

Yeah, 1.13's good. rmmoding the module doesn't hang anymore. But to be sure, I'll report back again tomorrow.
