Description:
Conky has had a bug open for 5 years for an issue where enabling ARGB visuals for true transparency in modern window managers supporting compositing causes images in the conky theme to become partially or fully translucent depending on their color. A patch has been submitted upstream but the project has not had activity in a number of years and appears to be dead. I propose including this patch in the Arch Linux package. Additional info: * conky 1.9.0 * Upstream conky bug: http://sourceforge.net/p/conky/bugs/317/ Steps to reproduce: 1) Enable own_window_argb_visual in your conky configuration file 2) Use a theme that includes an image that includes dark colors 3) Observe that the image is incorrectly partially transparent or appears washed out |
