Details

Description:
Boot fails with the following exception

kernel BUG at mm/vmalloc.c:1603!
invalid opcode: 0000.

Additional info:
The only way for me to capture the error, was within a picture. So please see the attachment.

This is on an Asus Eee PC with an Atom N280? i686 kernel?

Do you get this error with the 3.19.1 version of the Linux package in [testing]?

@Doug: Asus Eee PC with Atom N270, which is 32bit only :(.

@Daniel: No, that one boots fine. I should have said, the 3.18 versions of grsec build also booted fine.

I expect that this will be fixed by the update that I'll be pushing shortly. It's likely fixed by this change:
