i can play wmv files, but i have no video output. after looking at the vlc support page, i found that you need the win32codecs (arch package "codecs") installed _and_ vlc compiled against it. the codecs are installed here, but vlc isn't compiled with --enable-dmo --enable-loader as it should be. and codecs should be a dependency for vlc.
