Detailsmesa-libgl and lib32-mesa-libgl are simple symlink packages that conflict with the proprietary Nvidia driver (specifically nvidia-libgl and lib32-nvidia-libgl.) The mesa packages themselves do not conflict, only the "-libgl" symlink packages. I have successfully compiled wine from the ABS after removing those two packages as makedepends (and keeping my Nvidia packages installed instead) so they shouldn't be required.

Packages in the repos are intended to be built in a clean chroot. This makedep is in place to make sure that mesa gets installed in the chroot as the libgl provider. This is needed and intended.
