Details
If inkscape gets installed on a minimal desktop provided by
group lxqt or xfce4 and absolutely indispensable packages it
segfaults right upon start displaying a large number of
messages like
Gtk-WARNING **: ChannelsAction: missing action ChannelsAction Gtk-WARNING **: ThresholdAction: missing action ThresholdAction Gtk-WARNING **: OffsetAction: missing action OffsetAction [...] on the shell. Problem can be fixed by installing either ttf-dejavu or ttf-bistream-vera. Other packages providing ttf-font as well, e. g. ttf-freefont or ttf-liberation dont't help. Seen on up to date Arch Linux x86_64, either "bare metal" or in a QEMU VM. No i686 system at hand right now, unfortunately. Doing so called "time travelling" as described on https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Arch_Rollback_Machine suggests it's a regression introduced in 0.91. Can't tell whether just one of those packages has to be added as dependency or something else is wrong. |

I'll add ttf-dejavu as a hard dependency. It's harmless and only a
tenth the size of inkscape itself.
