Details(new 0.19 version in extra) I'm surrending... nothing to do... reinstalled and compiled mutagen, quodlibet, gstreamer... anything... if I uninstall gstreamer0.10-mad then i'm not able to listen to internet radio. (So something is working)
I i install gstreamer0.10-flac then i'm able to play flac files... If i reinstall mad nothing happens... i've tried also to install ugly (from which mad is built)... nothing. [root@just4fun cimi]# pacman -Q | grep gstreamer gstreamer 0.8.11-1 gstreamer0.10 0.10.4-1 gstreamer0.10-alsa 0.10.5-1 gstreamer0.10-base 0.10.5-1 gstreamer0.10-gconf 0.10.2-4 gstreamer0.10-gnomevfs 0.10.5-2 gstreamer0.10-good 0.10.2-3 gstreamer0.10-mad 0.10.3-1 gstreamer0.10-ogg 0.10.5-1 gstreamer0.10-python 0.10.3-1 gstreamer0.10-ugly 0.10.3-1 gstreamer0.10-vorbis 0.10.5-1 |

Try this:
python
import gst
gst.element_factory_make("mad")
post the results of that.

>>> import gst

<__main__.GstMad object (mad0) at 0xb7ea093c>
>>>
?
python
import mutagen.id3
from mutagen.mp3 import MP3
I guess it will generate an exception on your system. quodlibet uses this check, as well as the GStreamer check to determine if you have support for MP3.
