Description:
The update grep 2.21-1 to 2.21-2 can not do because grep is present in core in version 2.21-1 and is present in extra in version 2.21-2.

I'm not seeing that at all. From what I can see, grep 2.21-2 is in testing, so you shouldn't be seeing it at all. Try `pacman -Syyu` and if you're still seeing it, try a different mirror.

@Scimmia: this was in fact the case because the package was accidentally pushed to [extra].
CryptoCrack corrected this later by moving it from [extra] to [testing].
As its laying in [testing] now and waits to be moved to [core] rather then [extra] i guess this issue is invalid now.

PS: it seems that someone also flaged grep as out-of-date (which is invalid), the flag can safely be removed but seblu will probably do that once he is online.
