Details

In dmesg I see an errror:

vlc[3446]: segfault at 10 ip 00007f3f93f16a03 sp 00007f3f7e244b90 error 4 in liblua.so.5.2.3[7f3f93f0a000+30000]

after launch VLC and play a random file and open VLC Settings.

It doesn't actually fix it and breaks other things like causing videos to be displayed in a separate window.
