DetailsChecking the release notes for PlayOnLinux, it is supposed to support wxpython3.0 from version 4.2.5
I decided to test this by editing the PKGBUILD: 1: changed the wxpython2.8 dependency to just wxpython 2: commented out line 30. I built and installed the package, and everything seem to work well without any problems. It does not look "perfect", but I have been using it like this for some time now without any issues. I can use the full GUI with all buttons fully visible. In my opinion, there should not be any need for this package to depend on the wxpython2.8 compatibility pacakge. |
