Description:

since vlc-2.2.0-1 package version I notice a weird bug on playback with h264 videos files :

- sometimes the screen is black in the GUI of vlc when I open h264 video file, but when I seek/move inside the file the bug is gone, no black screen

- the gamma settings doesn't work, no effect

it's a random bug, but it's easy to trigger the bug,

if I downgrade to vlc-2.1.5-5 then there is no bug,

I use archlinux 64 bits, radeon driver ( ati radeon HD4650 PCie )

Additional info:
* package version(s) vlc-2.2.0-1
* config and/or log files etc.

Steps to reproduce:
- install vlc-2.2.0-1
- open a h264 video file
- sometimes a black screen will occur instead of the video, you can hear the sound but there is no video
- if you move inside the video the bug is gone, no black screen
- downgrading to vlc 2.1.5 solves the problem

@Selivanov: yes these bugs reports seem a good clue,

but there is also another side effect of this bug : the "gamma setting" in video options doesn't work since vlc 2.2.0

I downgrade to 2.1.5
I use vlc for viewing IPTV, and this bug is annoying.
