Description:
The Name of the application is plasma-shell,

I looked a long time for plasma desktop but finally realized that it didn't exist.. It was the version of kde4.

The plasmashell binary is not even in the plasma-desktop package...

ok sorry.... I thought it was there. I cannot find which package it is... It's just that in kde4, you have to start plasma-desktop (or restart when there is a bug) but in kde5 it's plasma-shell.

Therefore I find it a little confusiong.

plasma-shell is a generic name for plasma-desktop or (i suppose:) plasma-netbook.
