The kvpnc package attempts to use /sbin/route when setting up routes (at least when using for Cisco with vpnc), which is part of core/net-tools, which is not listed as a dependency. Steps to reproduce: Install community/kvpnc Configure to connect via Cisco (free). It fails to finish the connection (no route configured). Installing core/net-tools resolves the problem. |
