Description:
/pool/packages/linux-firmware-20150206.17657c3-1-any.pkg.tar.xz
/pool/packages/linux-firmware-20150206.17657c3-1-any.pkg.tar.xz.sig

Signature doesn't match package, which breaks installation:
:: File /var/cache/pacman/pkg/linux-firmware-20150206.17657c3-1-any.pkg.tar.xz is corrupted (invalid or corrupted package (checksum)).
Do you want to delete it? [Y/n] error: failed to commit transaction (invalid or corrupted package)

I deleted these files and re-synced the mirror in question (archlinux.mirrors.ovh.net, syncing from ftp5.gwdg.de), but still have the corrupted files:

$ gpg --verify ./pool/packages/linux-firmware-20150206.17657c3-1-any.pkg.tar.xz ./pool/packages/linux-firmware-20150206.17657c3-1-any.pkg.tar.xz.sig
gpg: [don't know]: invalid packet (ctb=2e)
gpg: no signature found
gpg: the signature could not be verified.
Please remember that the signature file (.sig or .asc)
should be the first file given on the command line.

Additional info:
* package version(s)
* config and/or log files etc.

Your gpg --verify failed for other reasons, read the output.

If it truly is still bad, it's either a transfer problem or a mirror problem. Contact the mirror admin if you're sure it's bad. Either way, it's not an Arch problem.
