Package: bind 9.10.1.P1-2
Description: The bind package does not create a bind group in /etc/group, /etc/gshadow This results in shadow.service failing: ----------------- Feb 11 00:00:21 www systemd[1]: Unit shadow.service entered failed state. Feb 11 00:00:21 www systemd[1]: shadow.service failed. -- Reboot -- Feb 12 00:00:05 www systemd[1]: Starting Verify integrity of password and group files... Feb 12 00:00:05 www pwck[15804]: user 'bind': no group 119 Feb 12 00:00:05 www pwck[15804]: user 'bind': directory '/var/cache/bind' does not exist ----------------- Additionally, it appears that the prescribed home directory for bind, /var/cache/bind, isn't created by default on package installation. Either the home directory for bind should be changed to /var/named or the /var/cache/bind directory should be created by the package. |
