Summary and Info:
pacman, repo-add, pkgdelta all use xdelta3 for package delta functionality, but xdelta3 package is not present in either of depends and optdepends. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Uninstall xdelta3 if installed. 2. Run anything that needs to create or merge a delta package. 3. See error message. |

Arch doesn't use deltas by default. I don't really see a need to
list it.
I assume people can use makepkg on Arch to create packages for
private repos with deltas, or even for other distros. It would be
nice to have this covered by optdepends in addition to the
documentation (and the error message).
