Details

If you are typing text in comment field on aur.archlinux.org and click to "Notify on new comments" then your typed text disappears.

Steps to reproduce:
1) Go to any aur page
2) Type some text in text field
3) Do not press Add comment.
4) Press Notify on new comments
5) You text is disappeared and cannot be restored

Please, fix that.

Do one thing at a time: first post (write and submit) a comment then click 'Notify on new comments' or click 'Notify on new comments' first, post a comment later.

Yes. Exactly that you described is unexpected behavior.
Of course, I will do one thing at a time, because now I know about that bug. But somebody else could suffer from that bug too.

It is common user interface behavior in the web... If you fill out a form element, then follow a hyperlink, you are redirected to a new site and the form content is gone. I also don't see any way to fix this, apart from using JavaScript for the links.
