DetailsPacman -Syu tries to update kde to 3.2 but for kdebase it results with file conflicts for the following files:
/opt/kde/bin/kfmexec: exists in filesystem /opt/kde/include/kbookmarkimporter_crash.h: exists in filesystem /opt/kde/include/kbookmarkimporter_ie.h: exists in filesystem /opt/kde/include/kbookmarkimporter_opera.h: exists in filesystem pacman -Qo /opt/kde/bin/kfmexec /opt/kde/bin/kfmexec is owned by kdebase 3.1.5-1 IRC conversation with Xentac revealed that the 4 files were moved from kdebase to kdelibs. The solution he proposed was pacman -Rd kdebase pacman -Syu but this is quite ugly, so a respective explanation could be posted on the news section of www.archlinux.org. There were also file conflicts with koffice and kopete (and kig if You happened to have the staging version; as kig is now part of kdeedu, it can be removed from staging altogether). Jan |
