Details

Description:

After connecting canon pixma mg2550, driver is not installed.
In gnome control center under printers tab is displayed only "installing" but without success.
In Fedora 21 works this printer out of the box with same gnome version (3.14.2) and same gutenprint version(5.2.10).
Cups version in fedora is 1.7.5 and in arch 2.0.1. i dont know if problem can be in newer cups version or not.

There's no usable information in this report. Please at least read the CUPS wiki page, tell us what you've tried, give us some logs, etc.

Arch isn't meant to run out of the box. Check all (also optional) dependencies of cups and cups-filters
and make sure you are able to setup cups properly using its web interface. Also check log file and error messages.

I'm pretty sure this is the same thing as  FS#43708 . Since there's actually some information there and there's not here, I'm closing this one even though it was first.
