Description:

I noticed efl is compiled with "--enable-wayland", however I think "--enable-egl" is missing, and is required by wayland support, or at least that's what I interpret from:

As I explained on the AUR page, your interpretation is wrong.

Ronald, my recommendation would be to close this as "Won't implement". Enabling the wayland egl backends requires switching everything from GLX to GLES.

From what I see, it seems that the --enable-egl flag as well as --with-opengl=es were added to the PKGBUILD at some point ( https://git.archlinux.org/svntogit/packages.git/tree/trunk/PKGBUILD?h=packages/enlightenment ). In fact, the only option missing from the Enlightenment README.wayland (https://git.enlightenment.org/core/enlightenment.git/plain/README.wayland) is --enable-gl-drm, which seems to be optional, so the feature request is most likely irrelevant by now I guess.

I'm not following EFL anymore. So I hope it's not a problem if I stop watching... I'm OK with whatever decision is made at this point... Thanks a lot.
